------------ The Fish Files

Lina has a thing with fish and slugs, with many more incidents where fish have come after her. She hates their guts, especially the big ones that talk and walk. It seems she always runs into them on unfortunate occasions. Even worse for Lina's pride, Zel always ends up saving her whenever she becomes the victim of another fish man. It's always the same.

Maybe there was a strange occurrence when Lina was a child and she like killed a fish brutally or something, so all of the fish in the world are out for revenge, bent on her destruction. Who knows. It's all a conspiracy. Just keep that in mind.

------------ Fish File #1

At this point, Lina and Zel still saw each other as enemies. Lina was captures by Zel and Zolf, tied up by a rope. Zolf brought in the worst form of torture to pay her back for burning him with a Fireball: a bit wet smack from their fish friend, Noonsa. If there's anything Lina hates, it's to be touched -- much less kissed by a fish. Noonsa, on the other hand, was thrilled with the idea.

Noonsa began with, "Hey, you'll love it, baby, a kiss from the most handsome guy in my tribe!" Lina, in a fit of panic and nausea, kicked Noonsa into the wall. Though she struggled valiantly, Noonsa kissed her. Unfortunately for Lina, she hurt his delicate feelings in the process, and that's what led to Fish File #2.

------------ Fish File #2

After Zel set Lina free from her captivity they made their way through the woods. Soon they reached a lake and took a break. Lina sat beside the water, and Noonsa snuck up behind her and pulled her in. "So my feelings don't count? Come back to me!" He yelled as he swam after the fleeing Lina. Since it was "that time of the month," Lina was unable to do magic, and found herself helpless.

When Zel realized that Lina was no longer with him, he dove into the lake in an air bubble. Lina had been hiding behind a rock at the bottom of the lake. Right as she was about to run out of air, Zel let her into the air bubble. At that point Noonsa spotted the two and swam into the air bubble, managing to trap himself as Zel and Lina got out. Zel cast a fireball into the air bubble, frying Noonsa to a crisp. Lina was saved, but not for long.

------------ Fish File #3

This fish incident occurred when Lina and co. were at the ruins of Sairaag. Little did they know that another fish man was sent to attack them. He was as fast as a bullet, with very sexy legs (according to Gourry, that is). The fish man forced the group to split up and followed promptly in Lina's direction.

Lina attempted attacking the pesky fish, but it didn't allowed her enough time to even cast a spell. So she resorted to dodging the fish as it swooped back and forth like a bullet over her head. Zel noticed Lina's troubles with the fish man and came to her aid. He asked, "What are you doing? Why don't you finish him?" She retorted that if it's that easy to defeat the fish, he should try it himself.

And so he did. As the fish man came around, Zel put his sword up vertically and stood straight. The fish man swooped down, found himself unable to stop, and ended up getting cut in two by running into Zel's sword. Lina replied that she should have thought of that and laughed sheepishly. Zel pointed to his head and nodded, signaling sarcastically to Lina that she should use her brain next time.
