------------ Asuka Langley : Evangelion

At first I didn't think Asuka looked the slightest bit like Lina, but I stumbled onto an image gallery with some images that proved me wrong. The only difference with Asuka is that she has purple, bluish eyes, while Lina has crimson red eyes. Asuka's hair is also a lighter red color than Lina's, which is a deep fiery red.

Asuka possesses a bit of Lina's attitude and personality, but not a lot. Personally, I find Asuka to be much more bratty and annoying than Lina could ever be (forgive me, Asuka fans). However! They both to have a hard time expressing their real feelings to the people they love and usually are first to attack. Both do well in battle. They hate to be helpless, and they are both loud. They are also stubborn and have plenty of confidence.

It could be argued that both Lina and Asuka have an ego, but Lina doesn't boast it quite as much as Asuka does.  While the two may look alike, their personalities and the way they conduct themselves are drastically different. Lina is shy about her body and doesn't reveal herself like some of Asuka's clothes do, and she hates dresses and skirts, while most of Asuka's closet consists of nothing but. Not to mention, you would never find Lina going about a crush (like Kaji) shamelessly. It just wouldn't happen.

------------ Inuyasha : Inuyasha

Though Lina by far doesn't have long white hair and large, dog ears, these two are still very much alike. Inuyasha is the lead of the series Inuyasha and he is a half-youkai, meaning he's half demon and half human. He lives in the Japan of the past, and is searching for the stone shards of the Shikon no Tama, which have the power to turn him into a full youkai.

First off, the outer appearances of these two. Both Lina and Inuyasha wear hues of red, they both have beads around their necks (though Inuyasha wishes he didn't) and they both have fangs. Personality wise there are even more likenesses. Inuyasha is stubborn, hot headed, short- tempered, loud, and rash. So is Lina. Though Inuyasha usually jumps into fights without thinking more often than Lina does, they still have those fundamental characteristics in them. And that's what makes them so great.

Inuyasha has a gruff and insensitive way of expressing his emotions and care for people, and the same goes with Lina. They're both violent people but are fiercely loyal. If any of their friends are threatened, they go on a rampage. If the person that they care for the most is scratched, their wrath is sure to be thrown upon the world. Though the two might come off as self-centered and overly violent at first, their characters both deepen. The best thing about these two is that when their soft side shows, it's always a huge thing, because it's so rare.

------------ Ranma : Ranma 1/2

This image and the idea for Ranma was kindly provided by K-chan! Ranma and Lina are much alike. Though one isn't fully woman, they both have bright red hair and don't back down attitudes. Not to mention they use vocabulary no proper lady should, they have huge appetites, extra-ordinary fighting capabilities, quick tempers, and a healthy dose of sarcasm. Pride is also very important to both; Lina can't stand wearing embarrassing clothes or doing things that are sure to hurt her pride. The same with Ranma. Many times he fights simply to save his pride.

Not only that, but both Lina and Ranma have the talent of being able to see through fights and make out which moves would be best in their situations. Both are smart and pick up on things very quickly. Like in the first Ranma movie, he was able to figure out how to get around the Go board fairly quickly. Lina also has that talent of seeing ulterior motives and figuring out how to pass tough situations.

Both of them have a hard time telling the people that they like how much they care for them. Ranma when it comes to Akane, and Lina when it comes to Gourry. Though they may seem tough on the outside, there's a soft side, deep down. The way they show their care for others is rather clumsy and violent (Lina always beating up Gourry, Ranma fighting and kicking the crap out of anyone else that tries to steal Akane), and when they do show affection, it's usually a big deal.

------------ Tasuki : Fushigi Yuugi

Crazed red eyes and crazy red hair. Sure, you say, there are lots of anime characters with red hair. But not only do Tasuki and Lina both have red hair, but they both have a fiery personality; they're loud-mouthed, rude, look on the bright side of things, get angered easily, and they're sarcastic. They often serve as the comedic relief while everyone else around them is bogged down with melodrama. They both are known to never give up (think about the time Tasuki was fighting Tamahome). They both specialize in fire; Tasuki attacks with his fire fan, and Lina specializes in fire Shamanism. But that's not all. They both wear tons of jewelry. They both have relations with bandits.

To top it all off, the piece of evidence that cannot be denied: they both have fangs! Characters with fangs are far and in between. Truly, this is the ultimate Lina lookalike. If I was any crazier than I already am, I'd go so far as to declare that these two were separated at birth.
